Urciers Workshop: Finding Your Character’s Voice

Discover how your character’s inner world shapes their language, rhythm, and speech. This workshop focuses on developing voice from the inside out, so that every line sounds like it belongs to one person.

Whether you’re brand new to writing or polishing a work-in-progress, you’ll learn how to make intentional choices that bring your story to life. We’ll break everything down clearly, look at examples, and try out at least three writing exercises to help you put the techniques into practice straight away.

No previous workshop experience is needed — just bring something to write with and an open mind. Expect a warm, informal environment, plenty of creativity, and refreshments included.
