1. My Guarantees to You (Editing & Mentoring Services)

I will provide a professional, timely, and friendly service, and I will work to the best of my ability on your project.
Your work will be treated as completely confidential. I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if requested.
We can create a formal contract if you prefer. I have a basic template that can be adapted to your specific requirements. Ongoing contracts are also available.
I will not finish working until you are satisfied with the agreed-upon scope of work.
You retain full control of your manuscript at all times. All edits will be made using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes and Comments features, allowing you to accept or reject suggestions as you see fit.
I will respect your style guide, stylistic choices, and authorial voice.
I will meet — and where possible exceed — agreed deadlines.

2. What You Need to Do (Editing & Mentoring Services)

Provide a representative sample of your work when requesting a quote.
Respond to queries and emails in a timely manner, as progress may depend on your input.
Communicate openly and honestly. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the work, please let me know as soon as possible so it can be addressed. If you are happy, testimonials are always appreciated!

In most cases, emails will serve as the contractual agreement.
Following our initial consultation, you will receive written confirmation outlining:
- the scope of work
- estimated timelines
- fees and any agreed payment plan
If you require a formal written contract, please contact me to arrange this.

Your personal information and your work will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
I am happy to sign a confidentiality agreement or NDA upon request.

My priority is your satisfaction and your success.
If you have any concerns or complaints, please contact me directly as soon as possible.
I will do everything reasonably within my power to resolve the issue, and if I am unable to do so, I will help direct you to an appropriate alternative.

All work and advice is provided in good faith and based on my professional experience.
While every effort is made to identify and correct errors, it is not possible to guarantee that a manuscript will be entirely error-free.
I am not responsible for any errors, omissions, or issues present in the final version of a document after delivery.
You are responsible for reviewing all work carefully before publication.
I do not provide legal advice. Responsibility for matters including (but not limited to) plagiarism, copyright, intellectual property, libel, or legal compliance rests solely with the author. Please consult a qualified legal professional if you have concerns in these areas.

No physical items will be shipped.
