A great story isn’t remembered for how it begins but how it ends. In this workshop, we’ll explore what makes an ending truly satisfying, from emotional payoff to narrative closure, with practical techniques you can apply to short stories and beyond.
Not taking part in the collaborative project? Not a problem. The techniques and exercises are applicable in any fiction project.
We’ll also take a closer look at our exciting upcoming group project: We’re Not Dead Yet!
If you’re curious about collaborative storytelling, community writing, or simply want to get involved in something fun and creative, this is a perfect place to begin.
Our discussion theme of the month will focus on the rising use of AI in the literary world — what it means for writers, how it shapes the industry, and where we go from here.
This session is open to all writers, whether you’re brand new, returning after a break, or a regular workshop-goer. No previous experience is needed. Just bring something to write with and an open mind.
Expect a warm, informal environment, at least three writing exercises, and plenty of time to chat, share ideas, and connect.
Refreshments are included.
